Cost-effectiveness analysis of proton therapy for prostate cancer
卫生经济学分析质子治疗前列腺癌的成本效益。 This study conducted a cost-effectiveness analysis of proton therapy versus IMRT for localized prostate cancer from a healthcare system perspective. While proton therapy had higher initial costs, the reduced long-term complications (particularly gastrointestinal and genitourinary toxicity) resulted in comparable cost-effectiveness ratios over a 10-year time horizon. The study suggests proton therapy may be cost-effective for selected prostate cancer patients.
